Write for us
Golden Policy Journal welcomes clear, original contributions that help readers understand how public policies are framed and carried out. Send proposals through the Contact page, not as an unrequested full article.
What we welcome
We consider explanatory essays, careful comparisons of policy approaches, accounts of how a policy process is structured and accessible pieces on terms readers often encounter without explanation. A strong contribution has a defined question, uses examples to clarify rather than decorate and gives readers a way to inspect the underlying logic for themselves.
What makes a good pitch
Tell us the proposed subject, the central question, why it matters to a general reader and how you would keep its scope manageable. Note the source material or documents you expect to use and disclose any relevant interests. We are less likely to consider broad claims about what policy should do without a clear explanation of the choices and trade-offs involved.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and select the editorial question option to send a pitch. Include a brief outline and any relevant writing samples in the message. Please do not send confidential information; a proposal is not a request for personal, legal or professional advice.
